To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
2. Disconnect the shift cable.

Disconnect the shift cable from the steering column shift tube lever.

Carefully lift the locking tab and disconnect the shift cable from the steering column bracket.
3. Push the rubber grommet and the transmission shift cable through the bulkhead.
4. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
5. NOTE: To prevent shift cable damage, do not apply force to the shift cable between the transmission manual control lever and the shift cable
bracket.
Disconnect the cable at the manual control lever.
6. Remove the locking tab and shift cable from the bracket.
