NOTE:
Remove the starter solenoid located to the top and right of the battery if A/C sight glass tube obstructs access to the altitude compensator
mounting area.

Cut the PCV hose, installed as part of a fuel system modification kit, as required to install a 3/8" vacuum tee (Item 3) in the PCV hose, near the
front of the carburetor. Route the new PCV hose with the plastic tee under the spark plug wires along the right rocker arm cover to the front of the
carburetor throttle body.

Mount the altitude compensator assembly (Item 1) to right fender apron raised pad area using two (2) 1/4-20 nut and washer assemblies (item 6)
provided, (See Figure 1). Torque nuts to 6-9 N-m (55-85 in.lbs.).
NOTE:
If mounting holes are not drilled through the fender apron, drill two (2) 5/16" holes. Use stamped dimples in the raised pad area as hole
locaters. Seal any open holes or voids in the fender apron with body sealer to prevent moisture/dust contamination of compensator air
inlet filter.

Route the 3/8" hose from the altitude compensator air manifold to the 3/8" plastic tee which was installed in the PCV hose during the installation
of a fuel system modification kit. (See Figure 3).
