ISSUE
Some 2005-2006 E-Series vehicles equipped with a 6.8L engine and built before 8/22/2006 may exhibit the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on with
intermittent diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0172 or P0175 (rich codes).
ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release B43.14 and higher or B44.4 and higher. This new calibration
is not included in the VCM 2006.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
