Material

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connector.

3. NOTE:  Clean off dirt and foreign material that may have collected around the rear wheel speed sensor before removal.

Remove the rear wheel speed sensor bolt and the sensor.

To install, tighten to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs). 

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Inspect the wheel speed sensor O-ring for damage. Lightly lubricate the O-ring with rear axle lubricant.
