Power Steering Fluid Cooler

Removal and Installation
CAUTION: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of contaminants or premature failure of
the power steering components may occur.
1. Remove the transmission fluid cooler.
2. Compress the clamp and disconnect the power steering gear-to-fluid cooler return hose.
3. Compress the clamp and disconnect the power steering fluid cooler-to-reservoir hose from the cooler.
4. Remove the 2 power steering fluid cooler bolts and the power steering cooler.

To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.)
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill and leak check the system.
