17. Install the splash shield and the pushpin retainers.
18. CAUTION: Use only MERCON SP Transmission Fluid to service TorqShift transmissions. Using MERCON V in a TorqShift
transmission may cause transmission damage. Use of any fluid other than the recommended fluid can cause transmission damage.
Fill the transmission with the specified type and quantity of transmission fluid.
19. Check for leaks.
