Make certain that the CMS wiring harness pushpins are secured in the proper holes in the crossmember and the frame rail. Refer to Figure 6
and 7 for the 138" wheelbase vehicle and Figure 8 for the 158" wheelbase vehicle.
Installation of FTP Transducer
1.
Install FTP transducer (if not previously installed from the assembly plant).
NOTE:
The installed position of the FTP transducer is with the connector pointing toward the rear of the vehicle

Clean the top of the fuel tank at the twist-lock plug location.

Using an Allen wrench, remove the twist-lock plug by turning it 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Remove the plug from the FTP transducer electrical connector.
