Selector Shaft: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery.
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with an auxiliary battery, both the negative and positive battery cables must be disconnected.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the shift cable at the manual control lever shaft assembly.
4. Disconnect the harness connector at the digital transmission range (DTR) sensor.
5. Remove the (A) bolts and the (B) digital transmission range (DTR) sensor.
6. With a suitable drain pan properly positioned, drain, then remove the transmission fluid pan and remove the gasket.
