4. Remove the inner pinion bearing cup with the Driver Handle and the correct size Pinion Bearing Cup Remover-Inner.
NOTE: The drive pinion bearing adjustment shims are located between the inner pinion bearing cup and the bore of the rear axle differential
carrier. If drive pinion bearing adjustment shims are bent or nicked, replace at time of assembly. The drive pinion bearing adjustment shims may
stack together; if so, measure stacks. If stack has to be replaced, replace with the drive pinion bearing adjustment shim of the same thickness.
5. Remove the inner pinion bearing from the drive pinion with the Pinion and Carrier Bearing Puller.
NOTE: The oil slinger is part of the drive pinion bearing adjustment shims and must be kept intact for assembly.
