Parking Assist Distance Sensor: Service and Repair
Parking Aid Sensor
NOTE: Standard bumper shown, step bumper similar.
Removal and Installation
NOTE: Right outer parking aid sensors shown, right inner, left outer and left inner similar.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the parking aid sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the parking aid sensor(s).

Press the parking aid sensor retaining tabs to release the sensor(s) from the parking aid sensor bezel.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Using the scan tool, verify that the parking aid sensor distance PIDs read no object present, and that the parking aid sensor attenuation PIDs
read between 0.8-1.6 ms.
