3. Remove the 4 bolts and the instrument panel LH knee bolster.

To install, tighten bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

4. Disconnect the steering wheel rotation sensor electrical connector.

5. Remove the 2 steering wheel rotation sensor bolts.

To install, tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb-in).

6. Remove the steering wheel rotation sensor.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

For vehicles equipped with Roll Stability Control (RSC(R)), carry out the IVD Initialization sequence. Follow the scan tool directions.
