F1 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE LAMP

Ignition OFF.
-
Disconnect: Inoperative Demand Lamp .

Ignition ON.
-
Measure the voltage between the inoperative demand lamp, harness side and ground as follows:
Vehicles With Rear Headliner
Vehicles Without Rear Headliner (Except Cutaway)
Cutaway Chassis Vehicles

Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
For a vanity lamp, INSTALL a new sun visor in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
For the body builder connector, the vehicle is operating correctly. REFER to the body builder information to continue diagnosis.
For all other demand lamps, GO to F2.
No
REPAIR circuit CLN09 (YE/GN) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation.
