Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair
Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor
Removal and Installation
1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL).
2. NOTICE: Do not tamper with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensing elements located in the airflow meter. Tampering can result in unit
failure.
Open the ACL.

Release the air box clamp.

Separate the inlet side from the outlet side of the ACL.
3. Release the latches and remove the Mass Air Flow (MAF) assembly.
