Remove and discard the torque converter drain plug. Allow the fluid to drain.
13. Flush the fluid cooler and fluid cooler lines.
Installation
All vehicles
1. NOTE: The 73L engine-style transmission case is shown, others are similar.
After the torque converter has drained, install a new drain plug.
2. Install the torque converter drain plug cover.
