Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair
Heavy Duty Riverter
SPECIAL TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable; for additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the center pins from the rivets, using a drift. Using a 1/4-inch diameter drill, drill out the rivets attaching the window regulator electric
drive bracket to the inner panel.
NOTE: Use care not to enlarge the sheet metal holes in the door inner panel.
5. Working through the access hole, remove the window regulator electric drive bracket from the inner panel.
