Power Door Lock Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
NOTE: Individual lock cylinders are repaired by discarding the inoperative lock cylinder and building a new lock cylinder using the appropriate lock
repair package. The lock repair package includes a detailed instruction sheet to build the new lock cylinder to the current key code of the vehicle.
1. Remove the door trim panel and watershield.
2. Rear door: remove the license plate housing screws, and pull the housing away from the door.
3. All doors: disconnect the lock cylinder-to-latch rod.
4. Remove the retainer, and remove the lock cylinder.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
