Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

Removal
All Vehicles
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front fender splash shield.
3. Remove the nut and the brake booster vacuum hose bracket.
4.6L Engine
4. Disconnect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube connections:

The EGR backpressure transducer hoses.
^
The EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube upper fitting.
^
The EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube lower fitting and remove the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
