Brake Lamp: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
Inspection and Verification
1. Verify the customer concern by operating the stoplamps to duplicate the original condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following electrical concerns apply:
VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Circuitry
^
Fuse junction panel Fuse 7 (10A) and Fuse 11 (15A)

Damaged brake pedal position switch
^
damaged connectors
3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to Symptom Chart. See: Symptom Related Diagnostic
