Leak Detection Valve: Service and Repair
Canister Vent Solenoid
REMOVAL
1. Remove the evaporative emission canister. For additional information, refer to Evaporative Emission Control Canister.
2. Remove the retainer by sliding it off the bracket.
3. Remove the canister vent solenoid.
NOTE:

Inspect and install new O-ring seals as necessary.

A twisting and pulling motion is necessary to remove the evaporative emission canister vent solenoid.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
