Fuel Supply Line: Service and Repair
Front High-Pressure Fuel
REMOVAL
1. Perform the pressure relief-fuel line venting procedure.
2. Remove the front high-pressure fuel line.
1. Disconnect the front high-pressure fuel line from the mid high-pressure fuel line.
2. Disconnect the front high-pressure fuel line from the coalescer/filter.
3. Remove the front high-pressure fuel line from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
NOTE:

Replace the fuel line O-ring seals.

Lubricate the fuel line O-ring seals with 5W30 engine oil meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G or equivalent prior to installation, to
help seal and ease the installation.

When tightening the fuel lines, a torque wrench adapter must be used with the torque wrench. The use of a torque wrench adapter will alter
the effective torque of the torque wrench being used. To correct the effective torque, a torque multiplication conversion must be used.
