Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
3. Disconnect the wiring at the coil.
4. Remove the screw and the coil.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Apply Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound D7AZ-19A331-A meeting Ford specification ESE-M1C171-A or equivalent to
the inside of the coil boots.
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
