2. CAUTION: To avoid damage to the exhaust hanger insulators, do not lubricate with oil or grease-based lubricants.
NOTE: A soap-and-water solution will ease the installation of the exhaust hanger insulators. Install the exhaust hanger insulators.
3. Install the TWC-to-muffler clamp.

Position the clamp.

Install the nuts.
4. Install the tailpipe extension (if equipped).
5. Lower the vehicle.
