Backup Lamp: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Verify the vehicle owner's original concern by operating the backup lamps to duplicate the original condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following electrical concerns applies:

Electrical

Circuitry

Bulb
-
Blown fuse junction panel Fuse 12 (15 A)

Damaged Digital Transmission Range (DTR) sensor
3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to Symptom Chart.
