Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 303 compliant fuel door labels (Part Number L1-498) for this program are being sent directly to
owners of affected vehicles.
Additional labels may be ordered by calling the Recall Hotline at 1-800-325-5621. Inform the operator you are calling in regard to Special Field Action
Program 00L07. Be prepared to provide your name, address, dealer P & A code, and how many labels you need.
DEALER PRICE
Dealers will not be charged for the supplemental safety certification labels ordered under this program.

AFFECTED VEHICLES:
CERTAIN 1998-2000 E-SERIES AND F-SERIES BI-FUEL CNG VEHICLES SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Open the fuel filler door and clean the inside lower half of the door, using the supplied alcohol wipe or isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag. If there
is another label in this location, it does not have to be removed. Allow the area to dry completely.
2.
Peel the backing from the new compliance label and install it as shown in the illustration.
