Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the appropriate cylinder head.
NOTE: Keep the valve tappets in order so they can be installed in their original positions. Inspect and test each valve tappet separately to prevent
intermixing of the valve tappets.
2. Remove the screws, the camshaft follower guides and the valve tappets.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

Lubricate the valve tappet and valve tappet bores with clean engine oil.

Install each valve tappet in its original location.
