As in all electrical circuits, clean and properly tighten connections as required. The proper torque on the smaller nuts on the glow plug relay is
2.3-4.5 N.m (20-40 lb-in). The proper torque on the relay's high current nuts and the shunt nuts is 6.2-7.3 N.m (55-65 lb-in). When servicing the
glow plug relay, make sure the appropriate nuts and washers are used. Refer to the PC/ED Service Manual to verify that all three (3) sensing wires
are in the proper location (Figure 1). After making any repairs to the glow plug system where any codes are present, be sure to clear the codes and
verify the repair with the Key On Engine Running (KOER) glow plug test.

If the concern still exists, reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) using the Service Bay Diagnostic System (SBDS) or New Generation
Star (NGS) Tester. Refer to the following Recalibration Cross Reference Chart for the correct PCM calibration
