Lower Intake Manifold

Lower Intake Manifold 

Removal

1. Disconnect the fuel hose spring lock coupling. 
2. Remove the upper intake manifold. 

3. Disconnect the fuel rail.

Disconnect the six fuel injector electrical connectors and wire harness locators.

Disconnect the fuel pressure damper vacuum hose.

Release the wire harness retainers from the fuel injection supply manifold.

4. Remove the bolts and the lower intake manifold. Remove and discard the gaskets.

Installation 

1. Clean and inspect all mating surfaces.
2. Install new gaskets in the lower intake manifold.

3. Install the lower intake manifold assembly and tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
