Escape 4WD V6-181 3.0L DOHC VIN 1 Duratec (2003)
4. Remove and discard the dust shield.
5. Remove and discard the RH halfshaft seal.
Installation
1. Using the special tools, install the RH halfshaft seal.
2. Install the dust shield.
3. NOTE: Clean the intermediate shaft before assembly. Use 600 grit sandpaper on seal journals and wipe dry.
Install the front drive axle intermediate shaft.
