Panel - Load Space Trim (Wagon) - Remove And Install (43 746 0)

Escort/Orion 1991 (08/1990-09/2001)

Removal and Installation

Remove

1. Detach the C‐pillar seat belt anchor.

1. Remove the cover.

2. Remove the Torx screw and detach the seat belt anchor.

2. Remove the C‐pillar trim panel retaining screws.

C-pillar Trim (Wagon) - Remove (43 618 0)

3. Remove the C‐pillar trim panel (three clips).

4. Locally detach the tailgate weatherstrip.

D Pillar Trim Panel - Remove (43 619 0)

5. Remove the D‐pillar trim panel (four retaining clips).

Catch - Rear Seat Backrest - Remove (40 534 0)

6. Remove the two Torx screws and remove the catch assembly.

7. Locally detach the scuff plate trim (two screws).

8. Locally detach the rear door weatherstrip.

9. Locally detach the tailgate scuff plate trim.

1. Remove three retaining screws.

2. Locally detach the tailgate scuff plate trim.

10. Remove the load space trim panel (eight screws).

Install

11. Refit the components in reverse order.
