Escort L4-110 1.8L DOHC (1994)
Brake Master Cylinder: Description and Operation
The brake master cylinder is different than on Escort and Tracer models without anti-lock brakes. The relief port of the brake master cylinder has
been eliminated and a center valve with a center port has been included in the secondary piston.

When the brake pedal is not pressed, the secondary piston is pressed toward the stop pin by the return pin. At the same time, the center valve within
the secondary piston is pressed open by the stop pin, providing a return path to the brake master cylinder reservoir.
