Seat Belt Buckle: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front safety belt buckle end bolt.
3. Disconnect the safety belt warning chime electrical connector (driver's side only).
4. Remove the front safety belt buckle end.
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the front safety belt buckle end bolt to 30-40 N.m (22-30 lb-ft).
