Removal

Rear Wheel Hub/Spindle Assembly (Disc-type Brakes) Removal

1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Remove the rear wheel.

3. Remove the cap from the rear wheel hub.

4. Remove the brake caliper and rotor. Refer to Rear Disc Brakes.

5. Unstake the nut securing the rear wheel hub to the rear wheel spindle. Remove and discard the nut.

6. Remove the hub.

7. Remove the four bolts securing the brake dust shield.
