Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

ADJUST 

1. Simultaneously hold throttle open to maintain 1,000 RPM while pressing lightly on Idle Speed Control (ISC) motor shaft.
2. After shaft retracts completely, release throttle and quickly disconnect ISC motor electrical connector.
3. Loosen bolt on the sliding trunnion block on the Throttle Valve (TV) control rod assembly. A minimum of one turn is necessary.
4. Remove any surface corrosion from the control rod and ensure trunnion block moves freely on the control rod assembly.
5. With ISC plunger retracted and trunnion block loosened, rotate transaxle TV control lever upward, using approximately a 1 lb force to ensure TV

control lever is completely against it's internal idle stop.  Without releasing force on the TV control lever, torque trunnion block attaching bolt to 
7-11 ft lb.
