1. Note:  Inspect the three way catalytic converter for cracked joints, broken welds and corrosive damage that could result in exhaust system leaks. If

necessary, replace the three way catalytic converter.

Note:  Use a new exhaust converter inlet gasket between the three way catalyst and exhaust manifold.

Note:  Use a new exhaust converter outlet gasket between the three way catalyst and the muffler inlet pipe.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
