5. Mark the front wheel driveshaft joint to the driveshaft for reference to ensure correct installation.
6. Use a soft-face hammer to separate the outboard front wheel driveshaft joint by gently tapping it off the driveshaft.
7. Remove the driveshaft bearing retainer circlip and discard.
8. Remove the snap ring from the outboard side of the driveshaft.
9. Note: Do not remove the tape wrap until after installation.
Wrap outboard driveshaft splines with tape before sliding the front wheel driveshaft joint boot from the driveshaft.
