8. Position the side trim cover. Install the three trim cover screws.

The seat backrest pivot bolt shaft must be inserted into the cover standoff.

9. Push the rearward lower corner of the side shield to engage the metal retaining clip.

10. Position the lumbar adjuster control and install the two mounting screws. Install the adjuster knob.

11. Position the seat back recliner lever cover and install the screw.

12. WARNING:  To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all warnings, cautions, notes and instructions in the front seat

removal and installation procedure.

Install the front seat.

13. WARNING:  To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, read and follow all warnings, cautions, notes and instructions in the

supplemental restraint system (SRS) deactivation/reactivation procedure.

Reactivate the supplemental restraint system (SRS).

14. WARNING:  The restraint system diagnostic tool is for restraint system service only. Remove from the vehicle prior to road use. Failure

to remove could result in injury and possible violation of vehicle safety standards.

With all the restraint system diagnostic tools removed, prove out the supplemental restraint system (SRS).

15. Check the active restraints for correct operation.

REMOVAL

Remove the seat.
