Radiator: Service and Repair

Radiator - Pickup Chassis

Removal 

Note:  On 7.3L diesel equipped vehicle with the manual transmission, remove oil cooler tubes from the radiator.

1. Remove the fan blade, clutch and shroud. 
2. Raise the vehicle.

3. Remove the degas supply hose and the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
4. Lower the vehicle.

5. Remove the upper hose from the radiator.

6. Remove the two pin-type retainers and position the radiator sight shield out of the way.
