Tie Rod End: Service and Repair
Inner

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. 

2. Mark a reference point from the tie rod end to the front wheel spindle tie rod adjusting sleeve.

3. Remove the inner tie rod end castellated nut. 

(1) Remove the cotter pin. 
(2) Remove the castellated nut.

4. Use Pitman Arm Puller to separate the tie rod end.

5. Remove the tie rod end 

(1) Loosen the toe set jam nut.
