Expedition 2WD V8-281 4.6L SOHC (1998)
1. CAUTION: The following step should be performed with the aid of an assistant.
Position the rear axle on jack stands under the vehicle.

Place a third jack stand under the front of the carrier so that it points slightly upward. This will allow the control arms to clear the rear axle
when the vehicle is lowered.
2. Lower the vehicle onto the rear axle.
3. Position the rear suspension upper front arm and bushing and install the retainer bolt.

Repeat for the other side.
4. Position the rear suspension arm and bushing and install the retainer bolt.

Repeat for the other side.
5. Raise the vehicle and position a suitable hydraulic jack under the rear axle differential carrier.
