Stage 2: Tighten to 35 - 45 Nm (26 - 33 ft. lbs.).

On 5.4L engines, tighten both fittings starting at the flop in two stages.

Stage 1: Hand-tighten.

Stage 2: Tighten to 55 - 65 Nm (41 - 47 ft. lbs.).
All Vehicles
6. Position the brake booster vacuum hose bracket and install the nut.
7. Install the front fender splash shield.
8. On 4x4 vehicles, install the front wheel opening moulding.
9. Lower the vehicle.
