Removal and Installation
NOTICE: While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power
steering components may result.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the upper air deflector.
1. Remove the 10 upper air deflector pin-type retainers.
2. Remove the air deflector.
3. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
4. Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering gear-to-fluid cooler return hose from the power steering fluid cooler.
5. Release the lower cooling fan shroud tab and rotate the shroud upward.
