Fog/Driving Lamp Bulb: Service and Repair
WARNING: THE HALOGEN BULB CONTAINS GAS UNDER PRESSURE. THE BULB MAY SHATTER IF THE GLASS ENVELOPE IS
SCRATCHED OR IF THE BULB IS DROPPED. HANDLE THE BULB ONLY BY ITS BASE. AVOID TOUCHING THE GLASS
ENVELOPE.
NOTE: The fog lamp bulb should not be removed from the fog lamp until just before a replacement bulb is installed. Removing the bulb for an
extended period of time may affect fog lamp bulb performance. Contaminants may enter the fog lamp where they can settle on the lens and reflector.
Never turn on the fog lamps with the bulb removed.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the fog lamp bulb electrical connector.
3. Rotate the fog lamp socket counterclockwise and remove.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTICE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive
strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
