Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. CAUTION: Do not use heat to loosen a seized wheel nut. Heat can damage the wheel and the wheel bearings.
Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the driveshaft.
4. Disconnect the rear Brake Anti-Lock Sensor (ABS) electrical connector.
5. Note: Make sure the parking brake control is fully released.
Relieve the tension on the parking brake system.
1. Pull the front parking brake cable and conduit.
2. Insert a suitable retainer into the parking brake control.
