Front Toe Adjustment

Front Toe Adjustment 

NOTE:  Air suspension vehicles must be at trim ride height prior to measuring or adjusting the caster, camber or toe.

1. Using alignment equipment and the manufacturers instructions, measure the front toe.

Refer to Alignment Specifications for optimal alignment settings.

If the front toe values are not within specification, go to the next step.

2. Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
3. Turn the engine off and, using a suitable steering wheel holding device, lock the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position.

4. Remove the steering gear bellows clamp(s).

5. Loosen the tie-rod end jam nut(s).

6. NOTE:  Do not allow the steering gear bellows to twist while rotating the tie-rod.

Rotate the tie-rod(s) to achieve the desired toe setting.
