Brake Pad: Service and Repair
Rear

REMOVAL:

-

Remove the rear disc brake caliper.

NOTE:  It is not necessary to remove the hydraulic brake line when performing this procedure.

Removing Rear Brake Shoes And Linings

-

Remove the rear brake shoes and linings.

CAUTION:  Do not allow grease, oil, brake fluid or other contaminants to contact the rear brake shoe and linings.

Retracting Caliper Piston Into Rear Disc Brake Caliper

-

Retract the caliper piston into the rear disc brake caliper.

INSTALLATION: 

-

Install the shoe slippers.
