Parking Brake Control: Service and Repair
REMOVAL:
Relieving Tension On Parking Brake System

Relieve the tension on the parking brake system.
1. Pull the parking brake intermediate cable.
2. Insert a suitable retainer.
NOTE: Make sure the parking brake control is fully released.
Removing Parking Brake Cable
-
Remove the parking brake cable from the parking brake control.
Disconnecting Front Parking Brake Cable/Conduit Housing
