Rocker Arm Assembly: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the valve covers.
2. Remove the camshaft roller followers.
1. Use the Valve Spring Compressor tool to compress the valve spring.
2. Remove the camshaft roller followers.
NOTE: Mark each follower to ensure its original position during reassembly.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Lubricate the parts with SAE 50W engine oil or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M2C908-A1 and API SG prior to installing.
