Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the oil pan plug and drain the engine oil.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.

4. Remove the ten oil pan bolts and remove the oil pan and discard the gasket.

5. Remove the two oil pump tube to oil pump bolts and remove the tube.
