Heater Core: Description and Operation
The heater core consists of a number of fins and tubes in an arrangement to extract heat from the engine coolant. Outside air is heated as it passes
through the fins of the heater core. Hot engine coolant, controlled by the heater water control valve, is used to heat the core.
