Information Bus
PURPOSE
The Information Bus (Bus) is a wiring configuration that serves as a common communication link or "party line" between the microprocessor
based modules in the electronic network system.
CONSTRUCTION
The overall communication network consists of The Bus, Anti-Lock Brake Module (ABS), Remote Anti-Theft Personality (RAP) Module, and
Powertrain Control Module (PCM), which uses a separate communication link.
OPERATION
Modules connect to the Bus so that it serves as a common point to every module.
